The Fairfield Fire Department is a volunteer fire/emergency response organization with over 40 personnel.  Each member is sworn to uphold the provisions of the Township in order to protect the lives and property of the population.

The Fire Department is a vital element in emergency response, with its goal to promote life safety by coordinating the efforts of fire suppression, public education, hazardous materials abatement, and specialized assistance to those in need during times of emergency.

For our Local Municipality, we pledge to uphold our responsibilities as outlined within the Organization Charter. We will continue to provide the most efficient  and progressive means of service delivery possible. available.

For the citizens we protect, we pledge to provide round the clock protection from the devastation of fire and emergencies, while holding ourselves to the highest professional standards. We will seek out advanced training and utilize  the best available technology  in our quest for the most progressive and life preserving measures available.

For our members, the Management and Administration pledges to uphold the finest traditions of the fire service, while not becoming overwhelmed by tradition stagnation.

We will continue to take an aggressive approach to emergencies through education and training for all members in the department, promoting integration of the newest technology available. Realizing that its personnel are the most vital asset within the department, we pledge that members safety will never be compromised.
